Vegetarian review: BEST DOSA IN TOWN They serve great south indian cuisine. I ordered a mysore masala and podi masala dosa. OMG! The size of the dosa was giagantic, proper south indian dosa size. This is the perfect place for dosa lovers, sambhal is delicious, nariyal chutney is perfection, and the crisp pf dosa is just wow. After 6 months finally my cravings for dosa is fulfilled in Halifax 3 Service is also great, they are really sweet and attentive. Ambience was minimal and soothing. Prices of dosa is reasonable compared to other places along with double size when compared. This is a perfect 10/10 place. P.S. - Smell of mysore masala was soooo tempting, i was not able to resist to even take a picture.

Had a great experience at this Kerala restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasted just like home. The duck curry was the highlight rich, perfectly spiced, and cooked just right. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

I had the podi masala dosa and it was delicious. The podi wasn't too spicy and gave a nice hint of heat. We also had the beef curry porotta dish. The porotta was nice and flaky and the beef curry had great flavor. I would definitely recommend this place for some good south Indian food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Peacock Modern Indian restaurant, an authentic Kerala restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, setting the tone for a remarkable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the food. Each dish I tried (mostly ordered online) was an absolute delight. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of options with weekly specials to suit all palates. The standout dish for me was the chatti chor, an absolute must-try for any first-time visitor. Kizhi and Nidhi porotta are also so delicious.

If you want nadan thatukadda (Kerala street) food then this is the place to go! We went for their valentine special today and it was delightful and absolutely affordable! 4 course meal and filling!

Super delicious and very authentic Indian food. Real, huge dosas have landed in Halifax, yay! Real mutton biryiani in banana leaf - yum. Staff is so friendly. What a gem of a place - well worth the drive from downtown. We’ll be back for sure!

We had a fantastic meal at Peacock Restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and had a wonderful homely touch. The spice blend was absolutely perfect, and we felt great after eating. My whole family had a great time, and we've been coming here for a long time. Hands down, the best fresh South Indian food! Highly recommend!
